What are the requirements to participate in the Eco Trail Morocco ?

Eco Trail Series is open to any person over 18 years of age, of any nationality, who accepts the rules and conditions of the race. A medical certificate of “no contra-indication to running in competition” of less than 2 months from the date of start of the race is compulsory for the trials of a 30-km (in 3 steps), 70 km (in 3 steps) and for the walkers.

Eco Trail Series is open to walkers for the race of 30 km in 3 steps. The event is also open to Joëlettes, with the specification that the number of helpers should be higher than 6 by Joëlette.

How to qualify for the group rate ?

From 5 people you can benefit from the rate group, even if you run in different events.
Pour vous inscrire en groupe, il suffit que chaque participant s’inscrive en indiquant le nom de votre groupe (équipe) sur la plateforme lors de son inscription.

Il existe une inscription « accompagnant ». Que comprend cette inscription ?

Les accompagnants suivront la course en 4×4 pour vivre l’aventure de près et encourager les participants pendant la course. Ils bénéficieront, tout comme les participants, de l’hébergement en pension complète. La course est limitée à 10 accompagnants. Le tarif est le même pour les inscriptions « accompagnant ».

When I arrive at the airport of Ouarzazate, is that someone comes to pick us ?

We schedule of the free shuttle buses to the airport of Ouarzazate that you can use.

Is it better to come directly to Ouarzazate, rather than Marrakech ?

Il est généralement plus pratique d’arriver directement à Ouarzazate pour éviter un trajet supplémentaire depuis Marrakech. Il y a des vols directs de Paris, Marseille, Barcelone et Londres  vers Ouarzazate. Si vous arrivez à Marrakech, il y a des bus et des taxis pour Ouarzazate tous les jours.

Most participants arrive to the airport of Marrakech.

However, we have an option of shuttle in partnership with a transportation agency. The total price is 50 € /return Marrakech/Ouarzazate & Ouarzazate/Marrakech.

Here is the schedule of the shuttle program :

• Lundi 20 octobre  2025 :Départ à partir de 11h et à partir de 19h de l’aéroport de Marrakech vers Ouarzazate.
• Mardi 21 octobre  2025 : Starting from 09: 30 and from 12: the airport of Marrakech to Ouarzazate.
• Return : La navette de retour est programmée le samedi 25 octobre  2025 à partir de 10 h du matin, de Ouarzazate vers l’aéroport de Marrakech.

La navette sera disponible devant la porte de l’aéroport de Marrakech dans le parking  avec un drapeau plume arborant le logo de l’ECO TRAIL MOROCCO.

Un membre de notre équipe sera sur place pour  vous diriger vers la navette.

J’imagine que nous devons impérativement arriver avant le 21 octobre  16h pour la remise des dossards ?

Le contrôle et la remise des dossards commenceront à partir de 16h le 21 octobre 2025. Vous avez toute la journée jusqu’à 20h pour récupérer votre dossard

Can we switch on the 30 km in case of difficulty about 70 km ?

In case of difficulty during the test of 70 km, you have the option of switching on the test of 30 km.

Are we still staying at the same hotel ?

Participants are housed in the same hotel in Ouarzazate for the duration of the event.

Can we add additional nights of hotel according to the flight schedule ?

It is possible to book extra nights. We will let you know the name of the hotel 5 months before the start of the race, so that you can make your reservations for additional nights.

Is it necessary to bring a sleeping bag ?

Nous vous confirmons qu’il n’est pas nécessaire d’apporter un sac de couchage. Vous serez logée pendant 4 nuits à l’hôtel , du 21 au 24 octobre  2025.

Session octobre 2025 : vous ne serez pas logée au bivouac.

.If I register one now, is it possible to have a bundled price after the fact ?

Yes, it is possible.

If I sign up now for the 30 km, is it possible to change the distance before departure ?

You have up to one month before the start of the race to change the distance.

In the case of a room for a single person, the price is the same ?

Les chambres sont prévues en double ou en twin, chacun partageant la chambre avec la personne de son choix (il faut mentionner le nom de la personne avec laquelle vous souhaitez partager la chambre lors de votre inscription sur la plateforme). Si vous êtes seul(e), vous partagerez la chambre avec une autre participant(e) de la même nationalité que vous.

What will be the temperature during the race ?

En octobre , les températures à Ouarzazate sont généralement douces le matin (autour de 10-18°C) et peuvent atteindre 25-30°C en journée. Le départ de la course est donné tôt le matin, ce qui permet de courir aux heures les plus fraîches.

A license is competitive enough ?

The presentation of a medical certificate dated within the last two months is mandatory.
